VETERAN’S DAY CELEBRATION

S&S ELEMENTARY

The 1st - 4th grade students will be singing patriotic songs and saying thank you to the servicemen/women and veterans in our community. Students are encouraged to invite local veteran family members and friends to be honored during our assembly. 

We would also like to honor veterans by including them either in a video or on our Wall of Honor. A form is coming home with  your child today. Please fill out the information for each veteran friend or family member (alive or deceased) and return it to school by Wednesday, November 5th. The information will be used to make a Wall of Honor. If you would like to add a photo, we would like to include it in a video presentation as well. You may send a photo to the school or email it to leslie.white@sscisd.net. Please include the name of the veteran, the branch served in, the student name and the relation to the student.

Please have your child wear patriotic colors to school on the 11th!
