S&S Consolidated ISD

The board of trustees consists of seven members elected to serve, without compensation, for
overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted in May. Following the election,
the board elects a president, vice-president, and secretary to serve for one-year terms.

The next board election is scheduled for May 3, 2025, with two open seats for three years.

• Residence – 1 year in state and 6 months in school district prior to filing deadline.
• Age – 18 years
• Must be registered voter in territory elected from the filing deadline.
• A person ineligible to serve as a member of the board of a district if the person has been convicted of a felony or an offense under Penal Code 43.021.

• Candidate filing period to file application for place on the ballot is:  January 15, 2025 - February 14, 2025
• All applications filed are public records and open to inspection upon request.

Last day of early voting: April 29, 2025 

Last day to receive ballot by mail:  May 3, 2025

Election Day: May 3, 2025 (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
