S&S HS Choir Students Qualify for Area and All-State Choir

Congratulations to our four choir students who made it to Area!
McKenzie Ridenour - Junior Soprano

Addy Russell - Junior Soprano
This is a huge accomplishment, and we are so proud of their hard work representing S &S High School!Also, a huge congratulations to Addyson Russell. Addyson Russell has qualified to perform with the 2026 Texas All-State Choir, the highest honor for a Texas music student! She will perform on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio during the TMEA Clinic/Convention. Selected through a highly competitive, multi-level audition process, Addyson is among the top 3% of student musicians statewide - and this marks her second time earning All-State honors. She studies with Sylvia Rivers and sings under the direction of Angela Russell. Way to go, Addyson!! 🎵👏
