S&S Band Receives High Ratings at UIL competition (MS and HS Band)
What an incredible week for our band program! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication our students have shown.
On March 7th, our Color Guard kicked things off by earning a Superior rating at their regional contest. Their performance was the result of countless hours of practice and commitment, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they represented our program.
On March 10th, our High School Band took the stage at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, earning a II (Excellent) rating on stage and a I (Superior) rating in Sight Reading. Their musical growth and preparation truly showed in their performance.
To finish the week, on March 12th, our Middle School Band delivered an outstanding performance at their UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, earning a II (Excellent) rating on stage and a I (Superior) rating in Sight Reading. These ratings also made history for the program, marking an incredible milestone and setting a new standard of excellence for our middle school musicians.
This week is a testament to the dedication of our students, directors, and the support of our community. We are so proud of everything our band family continues to accomplish!
